These guys didn't make it. You could see them struggling to breath but their lungs just weren't developed enough to make it. Totally sucks seeing animals die and there is nothing you can do for them........
The father is a neat looking "CH" that I've had since a baby (2005). I'd like to prove him out either way. There is always next year......

Motley PH T+ 1/07 x Central 1/04.
Another premie clutch. I'm definately not off to a good start! 3 central Motleys and 2 normals were born. They were premies and unfortunately didn't make it. Their lungs again were under developed.
Totally sucks!

WC Hogg 1/07 x WC Hogg 3/06.
The "WC Hogg's" are a line of pure Hogg Island boas. The island that they come from is 100% a nature preserve. However, some were smuggled off of the island to a country were they could be legally exported as BCI's and then shipped to Canada. So, that is why I call them the "WC Hogg" line.
All of the animals I'm working with are 1st and 2nd generation CB in Canada.

Reverse Stripe Panama 4/07 x Stav Hypo 1/06.
7.3 Hypos (Het Reverse Stripe??)
5.3 Normal (Het Reverse Stripe??)
This is a cross between a Panamanian Male to "Central" Hypo female.
Stav believes that his Hypos originated from a Nic female to roatan island male.
The babies are all "centrals" but they are mixed blood. They did take on more of a Panamanian look to them.

Leopard 1/06 x Hypo Het Leopard 2/07.
WOW! Talk about a Hypo Leopard. This one is hot!!
Since this was Leopard x Hypo Het Leopard the odds were really low on Leopards. 1 Hypo Leopard out of 20 babies. Statistically speaking I should have had 5 Hypo Leopards and 5 Leopards out of 20 babies. But, I see quite a few people producing low odds on the Leopards out of Leopard x het. I wonder why????
Anyways, I cannot complain. Some really nice looking Hypo Het Leopards and Het Leopards. Some really nice looking striped ones in there.
These guys are 75% Nic and 25% Columbian. The Hypo het Leopard female is from EBN and she was prdouced from a Leopard male to Hypo Columbian female. Which in turn was bred to an unrelated Leopard male (here) to produce these guys.
Leopards can be a weak gene. So, I'm hoping that not only the columbian blood but also the outcrossing to unrelated Leopards will help them be a little stronger.

Stav Line Hypo 2/05 x Uremovic Line Hypo Cherry (possible Super) 1/06.
Well it looks like the female proved out to be a Super Hypo. All of the babies look to be the Uremovic line of Hypos (pure Nics) and then some of them are also Stav line Hypos (Nic x Roatan Island??).

Leopard 1/06 x Hypo Het Leopard 5/07.
The mom is a sister to the Hypo Het Leopard female in Boa Litter # 7. So, again, this litter is 75% Nic and 25% columbian since the mom is from a Leopard Nic x Hypo Columbian.
Again I kind of got punched in the bean bag for odds. Out of 22 babies I only have 4 leopards where as statistically I should have 11. But, I'm just glad I have living babies since the start of the season was a little rough......

These guys are awesome!
Some say the Het Anery's are darker, almost like the Anery is trying to show through. Well, some of these guys are darker and some are lighter. So, can I pick out the hets????? Needless to say I'll be keeping back some of the dark ones for myself.

I didn't even know this female was gravid. I had the male in with her on Dec 10, 2009 and I didn't witness any breeding. He was only in there a short time and then I removed him. I wanted to female to grow up another year so I stopped putting the male in. She was eating weekly on frozen/thawed medium rats and just always looked "big". This animal is my garbage can so if someone else didn't eat she got the rats......
