Description: Pastel Pin Champagne HOG 1/11 x Pastel HOG 2/06.

My motivation on doing this cross was to produce a whole bunch of Pin Ghost crosses. The Champagne was the only male I had Pin and Ghost in so there will be a bunch of crosses this year involving this combination, not to produce a ton of Champagnes but to hopefully produce a ton of Pin Ghosts, POG Pins, SPOG Pins...etc.

The Pastel Ivory male that fathered this clutch was produced from a YB female from Jesse Wilson that has the extra "X" gene in it. So, we'll see what comes out of this clutch.....

This clutch should help determine if the Mutation X gene is part of the Lucy complex (I hope it's not!).

Also, I believe this Pastel Lesser female is 100% Het Green Ghost but I have not proven her out yet. This is her first clutch......

Description: Pastel Yellow Belly Double Het Ghost 7/11 x POG 1/06.

The Pastel YB DH Ghost 7/11 comes from clutch 23 in 2011. He was produced from an Ivory Ghost from Michael Cole to a Pastel Orange Ghost female. The 2 lines of ghosts were proven to be uncompatable thus producing double het ghosts. So, the Pastel YB DH Ghost male is 100% Het Orange Ghost and 100% Michael Cole Ghost.

This season I've bred the Ivory Ghost from Micahel cole back to his daughters and to Woods line Green Ghost stock to see if it is compatable with my line of Green Ghost.

The Super Pastel has thrown me for a loop. When she first hatched out I thought she was a POG. Now I think she is a Super Pastel. Either way she doesn't look like a POG or Super Pastel but she's one or the other (I don't think she is a visual Orange Ghost so that means she's a Super Pastel). Maybe the het Pied gene is influencing his colour/pattern???

Description: RDR Pastel Lavender Het Genetic Stripe 1/10 x Pied 1/09 JK.

I purchased the female Pied from Jon Kendrick back in 2009. I hardly produce any low white pieds and I really wanted one in my collection. So, when he produced this female I snatched her up as I wanted her for making crosses.

I've discovered that high white pieds produced 75% high white and 25% low white babies and vise versa. So, breeding a low white pied should produce, on average, lower white offspring. This is good for crosses where you want to see the pattern (such as a dreamsicle, ghost pied, caramel pied...etc).

Still trying to prove out the 'Ivory Ghost' from Michael Cole as an Ivory Ghost. I know from my breedings in 2011 that it is not compatible with the NERD line Orange Ghost.

I also know from my breedings in 2013 that it is not compatible with my line of Green Ghost either.
