Green Ghosts when they are born look more normal than an Orange Ghost does. So, sometimes they can be hard to pick out as babies but grown in to their colours as they age.

Description: POG RA 1/11 x Super Pastel Lesser Possible Pastel Possible Orange Ghost.

Super Lessers are great and I really like them but they can be a pain in the ass since you cannot tell what other genes are in them just by looking at them.

So, I need to breed out all of my Super Lessers to figure out what they are. So, this breeding should hopefully tell me if she is an Orange Ghost and/or Pastel.

To guarantee what I'm selling I need to know what the parents are..........

I missed on the SUMA.

Note # 1 - The one Lesser Mahogany is in shed. He pipped and then flew out of the egg the same day where as the rest of them took a good 3 days to come out.

Note # 2 - No idea how the "Het RA" looking one ended up in there. Last year this female was bred to the SUMA and this year she was bred to the Lesser Mahogany. She is not a HRA and the SUMA and Lesser Mahogany are not HRA's. Spontaneous HRA??? The Lesser Mahogany was produced from a Het RA clutch so the only possible explanation is he is a HRA.

These Champagnes are killer! When I hatched out the father in 2012 he looked like a Het RA (Champagne HRA's look different). However, I've proven him to just be a Champagne Het Lavender (no HRA). But, the Champagnes he produces are really wacked out. Maybe it is the lavender influence or maybe they are just wacked for no reason. At any rate these Champagnes are killer!

Well this confirms what I thought in Clutch 3. The father is a Lesser Red Axanthic Het Green Ghost.

This is the problem when you are producing animals that have never been produced before. Sometimes it's your best guess if it is or not. Sometimes you are right and sometimes you are wrong.....

Description: Pastel (Pinstripe??) Champagne Het RA Het Pied 1/13 x Het RA Het Pied 6/10.

I don't like posting picture of this male or his brother (Pin Champ HRA Het Pied) as lots of people want to argue with me that he is in fact a pied. Champagnes have a natural tendency to be ringers. I find the more genes you mix with Champagnes the higher the percentage of Ringers you get. Physically he may look to be Piebald but he only has 1 copy of the Pied gene. To be a Piebald he would need 2 copies of the Pied gene. So, this male is only Het Pied even though he has a large "Pied" patch on him.

Between this guy and his brother I should have 7 clutches of Champagne Het Pied x Het RA Het Pied. So, we should hopefully see what the Champagne Pied looks like this year. Some have speculated that the Champagne Pied would be a white snake. Maybe?? The only way to know for sure is to have one you can hold in your hand......

When you look at piebalds the obvious thing they have is random white patches. When you look past that you then notice that the "normal" patches aren't normal at all. So, A Piebald isn't just a normal snake with white patches the Piebald gene has messed up colours and patterns in the non-white areas. This is a good way to tell if you have a Champagne Pied or Champagne Ringer. If it is a normally patterned Champagne with a white spot it can only be a ringer. Piebalds don't have normal patches on them so how can a Champagne Pieblad have "normal" champagne bits to them, they cannot, so if you have a Champagne with a ringer mark on him he is a Ringer.

So, in this clutch I have a Pastel Champagne with white spots on her but messed up patterns in the non-white section. All of the Pastel Champagne Ringers I've produced are regular Pastel Champagnes with a white patch. This snake is different from those animals. For that reason I believe this is the first Pastel Champagne Piebald that has been produced.

In one of the pictures I've really played with the contrast to let you see where the wacky pattern ends and white patches begin. In a few months when she starts to darken up it will be easier to see.

Also, I'd like to note the Champagne Het Red Axanthic in this clutch with the 2 white spots is just a Ringer (not a Pied). Read above for the reason why.....

Last year I proved out that my first Albino YB Male (from Amir) was not a YB and just an Albino. Amir then sent me a replacement Albino YB Male (the father of this clutch). This is now 16 eggs from the replacement Albino YB x YB with no Ivory's.

All of my YB females were produced from my original Pastel Ivory male. So, they are guaranteed YB's. Not only that they have all produced Ivory's and Pumas to other males. So, they are 100% YB.

I'm no expert on Gravels. I produced a female Pastel Gravel in 2014 and then these guys this year. However, I have produced 100's of YB's over the years mostly from visual Ivory's. So, I know the wide variety that YB's can come in. So, using that knowledge I can compare what a known YB is in this clutch. With the breeding whatever isn't a YB must be a Gravel.

Het RA YB's have a real crazy belly to them. Almost like a YB on steroids. The Het RA Gravel's don't have a really crazy belly. They are more toned down. They also have a slightly different pattern to them as well.

This female was sold to me as a YB but proved last year to not be one. The male YB is a replacement for an Albion YB male that proved out to be just an Albino. So, this clutch is to just produce more Albino YB's to eventually produce Albino Ivorys, Albino Pumas, Albino Highways....etc.

I haven't produced a ton of Mutation X Pastel Lessers. However, there are 2 really light ones in the clutch and then a Mutation X Pastel Lesser. Could these be the Super Mutation X???? The next clutch of X x X should help me figure that out.

It is very possible that the Super Mutation X is a lighter version of the Mutation X. Such as Super Pastels are a lighter version of the Pastel....etc.
